What is a curly haircut and is it for me?

A curly hair cut is designed for those who wear their hair natural without the use of heat tools such as a round brush, flat iron or curling iron. The hair is cut in its dry, natural state to account for different textures and curl patterns that may be present and then will be set in its natural curl with product and the use of a diffusor. If you are unsure of if your hair has texture, a curly cut is a fun way to see what your hair is capable of!

Do I have to have curly hair to get my hair done here?

Absolutely not! All hair textures are welcome. Some stylists have an option for a “traditional haircut” which is perfect if you are looking for a blowout as a finished looked. Even straight hair clients can benefit from a curly haircut and you might be surprised to see what your hair can do!

How to arrive for a curly haircut?

Please arrive for your curly haircut with freshly washed and dried hair that is in your natural texture. Minimal product is okay, but please be mindful not to overdo it. Avoid any ponytails, buns, headbands or hats that will pull or disrupt the natural curl. Your hair must be dry upon arrival.

What is an Express Cut?

An express cut is available to existing clients only, between 3-6 months from your last cut. It is intended for maintenance; think lifting the layers, trimming existing bangs and no more than 3 inches off the length. Please book an Existing Client Full Cut for any major changes such as significant length taken off, establishing bangs or any major shape changes. This is a 30-45 min dry cut only, you will not be washed or set in this appointment, so it is extremely important to arrive with dry, day 1 hair that has been washed and styled in your natural texture with light product.

Is there parking at the salon?

There is tons of parking! We share a parking lot with the Coaster train station, so you will never have to worry about finding or paying for parking (all previous North Park clients, you’re welcome!)

Cancellation Policy?

Because we are a booth rental salon, each stylist has their own cancelation and late policy. Please refer to your stylist’s policy.
